Season Begins September 6th. Please Read Below.

Parents,

Register here if you haven’t already:  http://maitlandlittleleague.com/registration-2/

Player evaluations for the Fall 2014 season are on this Saturday, September 6th at Keller Fields from 9 am to 12 pm. All players who plan to play machine pitch, minors, majors, and intermediate (50/70) must participate in the player evaluations.  Parents will be required to pay all registration costs (if you have not done so already) and provide 3 proofs of residency in the MLL boundaries when they check in a player evaluations.

Tee ball parents must show up between 9 am and 12 pm to bring 3 proofs of residency, but Tee ball players will not participate in player evaluations because they will be assigned to a team.

Players will be scheduled according to their League Age (age the player will be before April 30, 2015):

  • League Age 6 and 7 — 9 am – 9:45 am
  • League Age 8 and 9 — 9:30 am – 10:30 am
  • League Age 10 and 11 — 10:15 am – 11:15 pm
  • League Age 12 + — 11:00 am – 12:00 pm

Players evaluations will take place on Field A. Field C will be open for players to warm up.

Please come during your designated spot. Coaches for your league will be there during that time to evaluate your player. If you come earlier or later coaches may not be able to evaluate your player, which will affect his/her eligibility for the draft.

For those parents who are new to this event – You will check in when you arrive at one of the tables set up at the concession stand. Your son or daughter will be assigned a number and you will bring them to the dugout on Field A (probably Home Dugout). Your son or daughter will be thrown 3 fly balls in the outfield and then throw the ball to second base. Next, your player will be hit 3 ground balls at shortstop and throw the ball to first base. Lastly, your player will take 3 swings off a hitting machine. Coaches for your division will be on the field taking notes during this time. Once your player finishes hitting you are free to go.  Please be assured, that all children will be placed on a team.  These are not “try-outs”, this is just a way for us to gauge your child’s ability so that he or she is placed in the right division.

Please check the website and/or facebook page for updates on this event.  Feel contact me if you have any questions about Player Evaluations.  Thank you,

Tim Ulmer, Player Agent  – pa@maitlandlittleleague.com
